“闪电”博尔特闪亮登场，里约奥运最后一战

　　Usain Bolt confirmed in a press conference that he will be retiring from the Olympics after Rio 2016.

　　牙买加短跑名将博尔特在一个新闻发布会上宣布，里约将是他最后一届奥运会。

　　Usain Bolt, the pride of Jamaica, and the fastest man in the world, will be gone in a flash after the 2016 Olympic Games are over. Ever since he burst onto the scene –literally– in the 2008 Olympics, everyone has been captivated by his every move. He won a Gold medal in the 100 meter, 200 meter, and 4×100 meter relay in both Beijing and London and remains one of the most decorated athletes of all time.

　　作为牙买加的骄傲，世界上跑的最快的人，2016里约奥运将是博尔特的最后一届奥运。自从2008年他在北京奥运上横空出世，他的每一步都让人们着迷。他包揽了2008北京奥运和2012伦敦奥运100米、200米和4x100米3枚金牌，是史上最伟大的运动员之一。

　　However, if you blink, you will miss him at Rio 2016 because he confirmed in a press conference that this will be his last Olympics. As such, every race that he competes in will come with even more attention than usual.

　　然而，如果你眨一下眼，你就可能在里约奥运上错过他，因为他在一个新闻发布会确认，里约奥运会将是他奥运生涯的谢幕演出。因此，他参加的每一个项目都会得到非同小可的关注。

　　Bolt stated, “Yes, this is the last Olympics for sure. I have done everything and have proven myself,” which is a good time to call it quits since he will be 33 at the next Summer Olympics in Tokyo. But said that he really wanted to keep his world record at 200 meters, and as such, he set out a goal for himself to run under 19 seconds in that race.

　　博尔特说，“是的，里约将是我最后一次奥运会。我已完成了我的目标，证明了我自己。”这时退出对他来说是一个绝佳时机，因为下一个四年在东京奥运会他都33岁了。不过，博尔特表示他尤其想保持200米的世界纪录，因此他为自己设定了一个目标，希望能跑进19秒。（目前该项目的世界纪录是博尔特2009年在柏林世锦赛上创造的19秒19）

　　Even though he withdrew from Jamaica’s Olympic trials with an injury, he still finds himself competing in Brazil, where he will be under more pressure than ever before. But he has coped with that pressure very well to this point, and anything he does at Rio will only serve to add to his impressive career. No matter how he finishes, he’ll still be regarded as one of the best Olympic athletes of all time.

　　尽管因伤缺席了牙买加奥运选拔赛，博尔特还是凭借自己稳固的实力进入奥运名单，他会面临前所未有的压力。不过，他能很好的应对这种压力，他所做的一切都将为他华丽的职业生涯锦上添花。不管结果如何，他都会一直是史上最伟大的运动员。
