活动简介
来自硅谷的创客弗兰克·科恩（Frank Cohen），和前迪士尼造景师及木偶师塔利·哈迪（Terri Hardin）将为我们带来一场交流会，分享他们把蒸汽朋克风、迪士尼叙事风和可穿戴艺术饰品结合的经验。内容也将延伸到如何通过3d打印等技术，使从设计到制造的过程更廉价且易于操作。他们还将分享其从原型开发到海外生产的项目经验，以期为别的团队提供借鉴。
深圳开放创新实验室（SZOIL)的主任李大维将作为本场活动的嘉宾，分享如何与深圳同步，解析深圳创客圈的生态，以及在深创业团队如何利用本地生产及供应链，加速其创新项目走向商业化的过程。

弗兰克·科恩（Frank Cohen）是美国硅谷最受欢迎的科技专家和发明家之一。长期着迷于创客运动中将蒸汽朋克的故事带入现实生活的能力，他自身的经历讲述了一个完整的故事：制作一块拥有神奇发光系统、一部跨度长达200年的小说和坚持原创艺术的收藏式蒸汽朋克风格怀表。弗兰克现居加利福尼亚洲硅谷。
塔利·哈迪（Terri Hardin）
迪士尼造景师
塔利·哈迪(Terri Hardin)担任迪士尼造景师超过10年，是一名备受赞誉的艺术家，曾经为法国、日本和佛罗里达的迪士尼乐园设计了著名景观。她也是世界知名的木偶剧The Muppets的操纵者和表演者，曾担任Jim Henson（吉姆·亨森）的木偶工程师超过30年。她还是迪士尼限量雕塑系列的创造者，这为其赢得了国际性的粉丝基础。

李大维（David Li）
深圳开放创新实验室主任
李大维作为最早关注创客运动的国内先驱，自2010年起推动中国创客生态的发展和创新成果转化，是中国创客运动的重要推手，被誉为“亚洲创客第一人”。他曾参与创办中国首个创客空间——新车间；联合美国纽约大学学者成立了Hacked Matter智库，研究和出版草根开放创新的议题；与英特尔（中国）合作创建“创客大爆炸”在线众创空间，作为全球首个“众创空间加速器”计划的资源平台。
2015年，李大维联合美国未来研究所、深圳市工业设计行业协会等机构成立深圳开放创新实验室，推动创客在下一代物联网平台的创新和创业。

Abstract
Be part of a fun, information-rich exchange between Silicon Valley Maker Frank Cohen and Disney Imagineer and Muppeteer Terri Hardin. The process they followed and how they pivoted from the original concept by pulling-in their interests in Steampunk style, Disney-style story telling, and wearable art jewelry. The talk will end with a discussion of using 3D printing and other technologies to make the design-to-fabrication process inexpensive and accessible. They will cite the big lessons to move from prototyping into overseas fabrication to help you on your own project.
David Li, Director of Shenzhen Open Innovation Lab will share on how to make with Shenzhen. By giving a deep introduction on how Shenzhen ecosystem works, he will show how startup maker teams could fully use local manufacturing and supply chain resources to accelerate their innovative projects into commercialize business model.

Frank Cohen
Frank is a popular Silicon Valley technologist and inventor. Long fascinated by the Maker Movement’s ability to deliver Steampunk stories in real life, he created a complete experience: Steampunk-styled pocket watches with a magical glowing light system, a novel that spans 200 years, and original art to make STARLING collectible. He lives in Silicon Valley, California.
Terri Hardin
Terri is an award-winning artist and Walt Disney Imagineer for more than 10 years, designing Disney park attractions in France, Japan and Florida. She is a world-known puppeteer and performer as has been a Jim Henson Muppeteer for more than 30 years. She is creator of the Limited Edition Disney sculpture series bearing her name, which gained her an international fan base.

David Li
In 2010, David Li co-founded XinCheJian, the first hackerspace in China to promote hacker/maker culture and open source hardware. He also developed Ardublock, the most popular visual programming environment for Arduino.
In 2015, he has become the director of Shenzhen Open Innovation Lab, which is established by Maker Collider and SIDA as a space and platform for worldwide makers to communicate and cooperate.
