EQUIS’ striking interiors pays homage to ancient, timeless Beijing traditions while also celebrating the best of modern China and the world, with dramatic spaces and eclectic vibes created through the carefully selected materials including woven metal, antique timber, and the distinct use of glass cubes and mirrors, fireplaces, pieces of genuine Chinese porcelain, antique Chinese bricks and roof tiles. A beautiful assembly of discrete enclaves, the venue features five unique experiences. THE LOUNGE is the high-energy, buzzing heart of the venue where live music and performances are the highlight, and colourful craft cocktails, premium spirits, table service, and delicious small plates entice guests. THE CELLAR on the east corner of EQUIS comes complete with a central fireplace and a dramatic seafood counter. Guests will find the perfect setting to savour the finest wines and champagnes paired with fresh Belon oysters, ‘fruits de mer’ and personalized services led by the Head Sommelier.
On the southwest corner of EQUIS is THE LIBRARY, a quiet haven for handcrafted cocktails, intimate evenings, and a spacious private terrace with hand-rolled Cuban cigars and rare, artisanal spirits. THE COURTYARD features a stunning, open-air garden that evokes the central courtyards of ancient hutongs that were once home to Beijing’s wealthiest families.
