A 19-year-old Giant Panda has given birth to a set of twins at the Atlanta Zoo in the southern U.S., marking the first pair in the country in 2016.
该动物园工作人员称，大熊猫“伦伦”在今年三月被人工授精。动物园工作人员于8月对“伦伦”进行24小时监控。
Officials say Lun Lun has been on round-the-clock 'birth watch' this month after being artificially inseminated in March.
“伦伦”于1997年8月25日在成都大熊猫繁育研究基地出生，并于1999年11月5日抵达美国亚特兰大动物园。
Lun Lun, born in China in 1997, went to the Atlanta Zoo in 1999.
“伦伦”先后产下七只大熊猫宝宝，有过4次生产经历，2006年9月6日生下“美兰”。“美兰”已于2010年2月4日回国。此次生产已是“伦伦”的第5次生产。
“She has given birth to seven cubs in total, with the first in 2006, Mei Lan, who has been sent back to China in 2010.
2013年7月15日产下双胞胎“美轮”和“美奂”。“美轮”和“美奂”的回国手续正在办理中。
Her first pair of twins were born in 2013 and will return to China shortly.
