诺丁汉大学(The University of Nottingham)，所在的城市是一个因传奇英雄罗宾汉和诺丁汉森林足球队而闻名的美丽城市——英格兰的诺丁汉。Nottingham 作为综合性大学，除了三个英国本土校区(Main Campus, Jubilee Campus, Sutton Bonington)，在中国宁波和马来西亚吉隆坡亦建有海外校区。作为毕业生最受企业重点聘雇的学校之一，Nottingham 还是英国申请最激烈的大学之一。
诺丁汉商学院（Nottingham University Business School），前身是诺丁汉大学管理与金融学院（1991年由最早的管理研究所与产业经济系合并而成），1998年8月正式成立诺丁汉商学院。目前NUBS只获EQUIS 与AMBA 两大国际认证，虽不比三重认证的商学院，但国内有分校对其知名度提升很大。
英国大学的管理学课程一直很受欢迎，但往往不是单纯的管理，有很多方向与细分，各种五花八门丰富多彩。Nottingham 的管理类专业开得比较丰富，除了有Management MSc，还有Business and Management MSc，Risk Management MSc和Operations Management MSc。以上都是商学院的管理专业，当然还有非商学院的一些关于管理类的专业，如环境管理或食品安全管理等等。
课程设置
商学院下面的Management MSc， Business and Management MSc，Risk Management MSc和Operations Management MSc共同点为均受EQUIS认证。在申请上，除了基础的2.1学位，均要求雅思成绩6.5，单项不低于6.0。部分专业需要有相关专业背景。
上课形式包括例牌的核心课程、选修课程、讲座、案例研究、研讨会、个人项目与论文等等。一年的课程中，需要修满180学分，其中的120分来自理论课程与考试，考试形式包括而不局限于笔试，小组项目等。另外那60学分就是每个学校都有的个人论文了，需要在暑假期间完成，9月提交。
Management MSc
不要求申请者有相关专业知识，也就是专门为管理菜鸟打造的基础课程，哪怕你们从来没有学过业务与管理，只有有心就行了。毕业后的职业方向包括会计师、 金融和投资分析师、 高等教育教学专业人员、 投资银行家、 IT 业务分析师、 管理顾问、 营销专业人员、 公共关系专业和大学的研究人员。

该专业跟management 略有差别，这是管理类的specialist programme，课程制定是基于基本管理知识结合商业业务，包括市场营销、人力资源管理、财务和会计和企业战略等。这就需要你有一定的基础知识。在申请上，B&M 需要申请者有相关学科背景，雅思成绩6.5，单项不低于6.0.
往届毕业生进入了各种会计、 业务分析、 业务发展、 顾问、 信用咨询、 经济发展、 财务顾问、 投资者关系、 一般管理、 营销、 运营管理和税务顾问的职业生涯。也有相当一部分学生选择创业。

Nottingham总体来说是个不错的学校，地势环境优雅，也是毕业生最受企业重点聘雇的学校之一。学校开设的管理类专业类型较多，课程也十分丰富，大多是十多门选修只选一门，自由度很高。但Nottingham的管理类专业不算皇牌，Risk Management MSc是其中比较热门的一个。好在Nottingham在国内名气尚可，心仪的童鞋们不妨观摩观摩。
