Dont Just Focus on Memorizing Words

不要总是把重点放在背单词上

Never just memorize single English words. When you learn a new word, aside from just learning its pronunciation and meaning, learn how to use it in a sentence as well. One way to do that is by looking at sample sentences and phrases that contain the word.

Then, try to use that word immediately in a sentence. Next, give yourself the goal of using that word at least five times that same day. You will be surprised at how quickly this will help you remember new words.

  不要只是单纯地背单词。当你学习一个新单词时,除了学习它的发音和意思外,还要学会在句子中如何运用这个单词。你可以通过看例句或带有这个单词的词组学习它的用法,然后马上试着用这个单词造句。规定自己一天至少运用这个单词五次。试试这个方法,你会惊讶于自己背单词的速度之快。
