Hundreds celebrated the Holi festival in the Spanish capital of Madrid on Saturday with colored powder fights and water splashing. Holi, better known as the festival of colors, originated from India and Nepal. In Hindu culture, the festival celebrates the arrival of spring. In recent years, however, the festival of colors has been gaining popularity among Europeans and is celebrated in summer as well.
