　　数字手势是中国人使用一只手的手势来象征从一到十的数字的一种方式。这种数字表达的方法在中国古代商业活动中被广泛使用,而且避免了方言带来的对于数字上的误会。

　　手势表达方式：从一到五的数字比较简单，张开手，伸出不同数量的手指，就可以表示从一到五的数字。

　　从六到十则略有难度。

　　六：大拇指和小拇指张开，其余各指握于掌心

　　七：大拇指、食指和中指向上伸出汇于一点，其余各指握于掌心

　　八：大拇指和食指伸出成直角，做英文字母"L"状

　　九：食指成弯勾状，其余各指握于掌心

　　十：五指握拳

　　Hand gestures are used throughout the world, but the same gesture can have different meanings in different cultures. Most cultures have similar gestures for the numbers one to five, but Chinese cultures also have gestures for six to ten. All number gestures are commonly used in commerce or day-to-day communication.

　　One一（yī ）

　　The index finger is extended.

　　Two二（èr）

　　The index and middle fingers are extended.

　　Three三（sān）

　　With the index finger and thumb closed, the last three fingers are extended.The thumb holds the little finger in palm with the middle three fingers extended.

　　Four四（sì）

　　The thumb is held in palm with the four fingers extended.

　　Five五（wǔ）

　　All five digits are extended.

　　Six六（liù）

　　The little finger and thumb are extended, other fingers closed, sometimes with the palm facing the signer. (The extended thumb indicates one set of 5)

　　Seven七（qī）

　　The fingertips are all touching, pointed upwards; or just the fingertips of the thumb and first two fingers

　　Eight八（bā）

　　The thumb and index finger are extended, and they make an "L", other fingers closed, with the palm facing the observer.

　　Nine九（jiǔ）

　　The index finger makes a hook, other fingers closed, sometimes with the palm facing the signer.

　　Ten十（shí）

　　The index fingers of both hands are crossed in an “X” with the palms facing in opposite directions.The fist is closed with the palm facing the signer; or the middle finger crosses an extended index finger, facing the observer.
