Recently relocated to a beautiful suburban campus in Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning Province, and jointly sponsored and administered by the Chinese Ministry of Health, the National Health and Family Planning Commission, and Liaoning provincial government, China Medical University is currently the only independent medical university affiliated with the former Ministry of Health. I. Positions and requirements
A. Academic leaders
Basic requirements:
1. Must be a leader in candidate's research fields in the international academic community with proven records of outstanding achievements; professor or the equivalent in well-known foreign universities or research institutions; preferably under the age of 55;
2. Qualified for Top Talents titles in China;
3. Capable of obtaining and leading major national and international collaborative research projects.
B. Group leaders or principle investigators
Basic requirements:
A doctor's degree from foreign universities; assistant professor or above in well-known foreign universities or research institutions; preferably under the age of 45;
2.Must be recognizable in the candidate's research fields with demonstrated potentials of becoming future leaders in relevant fields;
3. Qualified for Young Talents titles in China.
C. Highly promising researchers and outstanding postdoctoral fellows
Basic requirements:
1. A doctor's degree from foreign universities or top universities in China; over two consecutive years of overseas study/research experience; preferably under the age of 35;
2. Proven records of academic achievements with demonstrated potentials to become a group leader or a principle investigator in the near future;
3. Capable of applying for and leading national or international collaborative research projects.
D. English instructors
Basic requirements:
1. A master’s degree; over two consecutive years of English teaching experience in foreign universities; preferably under the age of 55;
2. A native English speaker with a standard accent; experience as an English teacher in China is preferred.
II. Compensation and benefits
The university will offer a generous compensation and housing allowance package and a pleasant work environment for overseas talents. They will also be eligible to enroll in medical insurance and social security according to standard national and provincial policies.
A. Academic leaders
Pretax annual salary: 600-1,000K, One-time housing allowance: 1,000-2.000K, Start-up funds: 5,000-10,000K and Other compensations: Offers sufficient office and lab spaces; strong resources to establish a research team based on the candidate's needs, including quota of postgraduates and postdoctoral fellows; other compensations may be negotiable during job interviews.
B. Group leaders or principle investigators
Pretax annual salary: 300-500K, One-time housing allowance: 500-700K, Start-up funds: 1,000-3,000K and Other compensations: Offers sufficient office and lab spaces; strong resources to establish a research team based on the candidate's needs, including quota of postgraduates and postdoctoral fellows; other compensations may be negotiable during job interviews
C. Highly promising researchers and outstanding postdoctoral fellows
Offers competitive salaries and housing allowance, as well as sufficient research resources; other compensations may be negotiable during job interviews.
D. English instructors
Offers a pretax annual salary of at least RMB 150-200K, free housing, payment for a round trip each year between Shenyang and the instructor's permanent residence, an end-of-year bonus, a standard insurance package, and meal subsidies. Other compensations may be negotiable during job interviews.
III. Overseas on-site recruiting tours
From May 28, 2017 to June 2nd, 2017, a delegate from China Medical University led by the university President, Professor Deliang Wen, will be holding a series of on-site recruiting events in Vancouver, Canada, and several major cities in the United States, such as Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia. ①原则上年龄在55周岁以下,在国外高水平大学或科研机构担任教授或相应职务,是同领域公认的知名学者,学术造诣高深,学术水平在国际同领域处于领先地位,取得国际公认的重要成就;
②具有取得国家高层次人才称号的能力;
③具有争取和主持国家重大科研项目和重大国际合作项目的能力。
学科带头人
①原则上应具有海外博士学位,在海外高水平大学或研究机构担任助理教授及以上职称,年龄一般在45周岁以下;
②在本学科有较深的学术造诣,学术成就在本学科领域的中青年学者中名列前茅,具有在某一研究方向上赶超或保持国际先进水平的能力;
③具有取得国家级中青年人才称号的能力。
学术骨干及优秀博士后
①一般具有海外博士学位或国内一流大学博士学位,年龄一般在 35 周岁以下,具有连续两年及以上海外留学或合作研究经历,
②能够把握本学科的发展前沿并已取得一定的学术成就;
③具有申请和主持国际合作或国家级科研项目的能力;
外籍英语教师
①一般具有硕士学位,年龄一般在55周岁以下,有连续两年以上的国外大学或研究机构的任职经历;
②英语为母语,具有在中国担任英语教师的经历者优先;
